Eeeewww...

I'm gonna apply for a reality TV show. I feel fucking dirty.

In other news, I drove around alone tonight for the first time in my new car. Feeling much better about the purchase after the drive and after the fact that I'm getting better at stick. I stalled once on the hour drive, and that was after getting back into my car and going into 1st in the parking lot of a Tops. So that was pretty awesome. I also had this really distinct feeling that my grandparents (who happen to be dead) were watching me, and that was really comforting. Made for a really relaxing night, and I had only gone out for a gallon of milk at first.

Just sent in that application.. I must now hit the hay.

Don't feel dirty! If you were on I Want To Be A Hilton then suicide would be needed.

Driving stick isn't that hard once you learn it...it gets much easier. I learned it in a day or two...needed to drive the only car I could afford.

I had the car moving the day I got it, it's just that damned 1st gear that pisses me off.

First gear is always the hardest...sometimes I still have trouble with it and then you'll hear me curse. I tried to teach [info]didifoolya28 how do drive stick and she freaked out and refused to go further.

I think if you can master 1st gear your are done! I think once you learn to drive stick you can drive almost anything.

in a few weeks you'll wonder how anyone can not drive stick.

honestly, i love it. so much more control over the car. stick > auto anyone that says otherwise is a fucking pussy

I'm sure once I really get the hang of it, I'll like it more .. until then, I still dread red lights and stop signs.
